Who we are. Upayosis is operated by Schirp BV (KvK: 67709710, VAT: NL857142598B01), Egboet 47, 1671 LH Medemblik, The Netherlands. Contact: [email protected].
Website: upayosis.com (Squarespace) • Learning portal: courses.upayosis.com (Thinkific).

By accessing our sites, booking sessions, or enrolling in programs, you agree to these Terms.

1) Services & eligibility

  • We provide educational programs, courses, and live sessions (online) and related materials (“Services”).

  • You must be 16+ to create an account. If local law sets a higher age of consent for online services, you must meet it.

2) Accounts & access

  • You’re responsible for your account credentials and for keeping them confidential.

  • Access to course content is for your personal, non-commercial use. Please don’t share logins or redistribute materials.

3) Pricing, payments & taxes

  • Prices are shown in EUR unless stated otherwise and may include or exclude VAT depending on your location.

  • Payments are processed via Thinkific Payments/Stripe and subject to their terms.

  • If you’re on a subscription or payment plan, you authorize recurring charges until you cancel (see §6). Failed payments may suspend access.

4) Scholarships & sliding scale

  • Scholarships are trust-based and limited. If granted, they apply to the specified program/plan only and can’t be combined with other offers unless stated.

  • If your circumstances change, you may request an adjustment for future billing periods.

5) Program start, cohort timing & changes

  • We may adjust dates, teachers, or formats for good cause (e.g., illness, travel, scheduling conflicts, platform outages). If we make material changes, we’ll notify you by email. At times, sessions might be prerecorded and released in a timely manner.

6) Refunds & cancellations

Cooling-off (EU consumers). For most distance purchases you have a 14-day withdrawal right. Because we provide digital content/services that can start immediately, we may ask you at checkout to request immediate access and acknowledge loss of the statutory withdrawal right to the extent permitted by law. If you do not give that consent, we will wait 14 days before granting access or we will honor a timely withdrawal request.

Our goodwill policy:

  • Full refund within 14 days from purchase and before attending more than 1 live session or completing more than 2 lessons, whichever comes first.

  • After that window, you may cancel future renewals at any time; past charges aren’t refundable.

  • For payment plans/subscriptions, cancellation stops future billing and access at the end of the current paid period.

  • One-on-one office hours are donation-based and non-refundable (if you reschedule less than 24h in advance we kindly ask you to donate the original intended amount).

How to cancel or request a refund. Email [email protected] from your enrollment email and include your order details. Refunds go back to the original payment method.

Local mandatory rights. Nothing in this section limits rights you may have under applicable consumer law.

7) Recording & replay notice

  • Some live sessions may be recorded (audio/video and, if you post, chat messages). We announce recording at the start through the consent Zoom feature.

  • Purpose: to provide replays to enrolled participants and maintain educational quality.

  • Choices: you may keep your camera off, use a first name or pseudonym, and ask questions via chat.

  • Access & retention: replays are available to your cohort during the program and for up to 3 months after, then removed or archived with restricted access.

  • Confidentiality: participants agree not to download/share replays or disclose others’ contributions outside the cohort.

8) Community standards

Please practice with kindness and respect: speak from your own experience, avoid unsolicited advice, honor time boundaries, and maintain confidentiality. We may pause/remove access for harassment, hate speech, spam, or other serious breaches.

9) Intellectual property

  • All course materials, recordings, and site content are owned by us or our licensors.

  • We grant you a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to view and use materials for personal, non-commercial study.

  • Don’t copy, upload, share, or create derivative works without written permission.

10) Health, ethics & no guarantees

  • Our Services are educational and do not constitute medical, psychological, or legal advice. Not a substitute for therapy or healthcare.

  • You’re responsible for your wellbeing; if in crisis, contact local emergency services or Cheetah House.

  • We don’t guarantee specific outcomes; practice progress is non-linear and highly individual, dependent on infinite conditions outside control and agency.

11) Third-party links & affiliate disclosure

  • We sometimes link to third-party sites (e.g., Amazon, Bookshop.org). We aren’t responsible for their content or policies.

  • Affiliate disclosure: Upayosis/Schirp BV participates in affiliate programs (including Amazon Associates and Bookshop.org). If you purchase through our links, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We recommend resources we believe are useful; compensation does not influence our selections.

  • Services are provided “as is” and “as available”. We disclaim implied warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law.

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claims arising out of or relating to the Services is limited to the amount you paid to us for the relevant program in the 12 months before the claim.

  • We don’t exclude liability for gross negligence, intentional misconduct, or where the law forbids limitation.

13) Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from third-party claims arising from your unlawful use of the Services or breach of these Terms.

14) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We’ll post changes here with a new “Last updated” date and, for material changes, notify enrolled students by email.
